Anne Northup hires new campaign manager.
The Anne Northup/Jeff Hoover gubernatorial campaign has hired a new manager. He is Michael Clingaman, the former executive director of the state GOP. He replaces Cam Savage who resigned this week citing personal reasons.

Anne Northup’s the favorite? Two weeks into the campaign, she’s reinventing herself. She has fired her campaign manager. She’s hired the Republican party’s executive director.
She’s the favorite? She’s Kentucky’s Al Gore.
Mike Clingaman previously managed one of Anne's successful Congressional campaigns. He is a good guy and will be an asset to the Northup/Hoover campaign.
How do you know she fired her campaign manager. Let us not ASSuME here, since the story is that "he left for personal reasons". If you have more insight into it, other than pure conjecture, would you be kind enough to share?
I've known Cam Savage for years. We went to high school together in Boone County (Ryle High). I talked to him the other night. Suffice it to say, he truly did leave for personal reasons. He had nothing but VERY complimentary things to say about Ms. Northup.
Is he planning on coming back in some role AFTER the "personal reasons" resolve themselves?
