Outgoing Attorney General, Greg Stumbo, has formed an exploratory committee to gauge a run against Senator Mitch McConnell. No kidding.
Meanwhile, former Attorney General and now Congressman, Ben Chandler, has been raising money for what I opine to be a race against Senator Jim Bunning in 2010.

No way Bunning will run in 2010. Democrats are praying he does, but he won't.
Bunning will retire. I think the world of him, but he needs to hang it up. Chandler will stay in his lonely House seat because he knows that Ron Lewis, Ed Whitfield, or Anne Northup would destroy him in a race for US Senate.
I believe you'll see Chandler on that ballot!
10:12 are you out of your mind? The only congressman who could even compete with Chandler in a Senate race is Hal Rogers, whom you managed to omit.
