Sounds to me like these House members (who are obviously TRUE Conservatives) know a REAL Conservative when they see one!

There was nothing stellar about Thompson's Senate career. In fact he was known as down right lazy. Let's see how hard he works now-nobody is handed the nomination-you earn it.

But REMEMBER: The same "lazy" tag was pinned on Ronald Reagan. Need I say more?
Ronald Reagan ran the biggest state government in the country for two terms. He didn't have to get out of his limo and ride around in a red pick up truck to get the job. He actually formulated beliefs without the advice of insiders or the choreography of his wife. Comparing Fraud Thompson to Ronald Reagan is a disgrace to the memory of our 40th president.
Well. let's keep watching, UNLESS you care to tell us who you fancy!
I don't know Anon's pick, but my two cents: Huckabee impresses me more and more, and I didn't start out in his corner. Of course, a lot of "frontrunners" would have to stumble for him to be given fair consideration by the media.

That ticket has NO legs, but Thompson/Giuliani does!
