Fletcher snubs some media on exit interviews.

Outgoing Gov. Ernie Fletcher has apparently decided NOT to grant exit interviews to certain media, "including The Courier-Journal, the Lexington Herald-Leader, Hebert and CNHI News Service, which serves a handful of smaller newspapers around the state."

Read it here.

It sounds to me like "SOUR GRAPES" from Fletcher blaming those news media for his loss, when it is obvious to any INDEPENDENT reasonable observer that he (ALONE) is SOLELY responsible for his election loss.

If he did NOT give his opponents ammunition to shoot him with, the newspapers will have nothing negative to report. However, when there are negatives -- such as Fletcher had -- one CANNOT expect the newspapers not to pounce.

Maybe, Fletcher will re-consider this decision, just like I PERSONALLY urged him to reverse his "send me your questions in writing ONLY" edicts for the Courier-Journal and the Lexington Herald Leader newspapers early in his administration; but again, that is unlikely, if he is STILL relying on the advice of those who have been (ill)advising him all these years.
