No shame here. These are dangerous times and it's good to be reminded of that lest we become complacent.
As your hero Abe Lincoln, the man willing to violate habeus to win the war, once wrote: wars aren't won “with elder-stalk squirts, charged with rose water.”
They're won by keeping the resources of a country focused and that means keeping the country aware of the danger.

Nice thought, but with Rudy, that thought has gotten STALE. Moreover, from what we know from folks who were at ground zero, Rudy was AWOL.
As for my hero, Abraham Lincoln, he did NOT violate the Habeus Corpus provision of our constitution -- he used it EXACTLY as it was intended to be used!
Oh BTW, my friend, I bet you a large dinner that Rudy will NOT be there on Super Tuesday!
