Kentucky Legislative happenings: Bills that deserve to IMMEDIATELY pass both chambers.
The following bills have passed one Legislative chanber, and deserve to pass the other. They are:
HB 544, introduced by Kathie Stein, that will allow state and federal governments to share criminal history records;
SB 46, introduced by Ernie Harris, that will allow more victim impact statements during penalty phase;
SB 50, introduced by Dan Seum, that will allow inmates to be tested for HIV/AIDS; and,
SB 194, introduced by Bob Leeper, that will do away with straight ticket voting.
