Special elections today in Kentucky's 6th & 95th House districts, and 30th Senate district. Make your votes count people.

The special elections in the 6th and 95th House Districts and the 30th Senate District (The counties affected include Marshall, Lyon, Floyd, Perry, Leslie, Harlan, and Bell) will be held today, and all voters are urged to go and vote in order to have their votes count.

These are very important elections as one can tell by the number of visits both Republicans and Democratic party officials have made to the districts.

For Governor Steve Beshear, positive results from the elections will add luster to his political "crown" (and of course negative results will hamper that) and help him with his political agenda.

For Republicans, the races will help them argue that the gubernatorial election was all about Ernie Fletcher.

I do not have "an ear to the ground" in these districts. Anyone who does is urged to enlighten us here as to what outcomes to expect. Thanks, and stay tuned for reults.
