The FBI Is On The Hunt For "Activities That Occurred During The Previous Administration [Of Governor Ernie Fletcher]", High Ranking Official Resigns.

The breaking news this morning is what we anticipated may happen based on previous allegations of improper doings over at the Transportation Cabinet, as a result of many statements coming out of Greg Stumbo's merit system investigations.

Now it is official: The Federal Bureau of Investigations (the FBI) has launched an investigation concerning "activities that occurred during the previous administration [of Gov. Ernie Fletcher].

"The inquiry includes a look at whether the cabinet's confidential cost estimates for contracts were leaked to bidders before bids were submitted, a highway official questioned by the FBI said yesterday," says the C-J.

Adding another drama to the story is that last week, James W. Rummage, Fletcher's chief district engineer in District 7 (which covers Fayette and 11 other counties) since 2004, and who also served under Paul Patton as District 9's chief district engineer for six years prior t that, abruptly resigned.

Stay tuned as this could get ugly.

Looks like the Ugly truth now is that the FBI is now questioning Ernie Fletcher about road contract awards. Call me silly, but I see some people going to prison.

If you were a true loyal follower of Osi, a true conservative, and true to the morals and ethics that should be guiding government...you shouldn't be afraid of hearing the truth. I applaud Osi for posting the good, the bad, and the ugly. Good for you OSI.

Serves Fletcher just right. He kept all of those DEMOCRAT DISCIPLES of his...holdovers from the Patton Administration instead of hiring good, tried, and true Republican Conservatives. Damn well serves him right. What was his famous remark to the State Exec Committee? "I have hired over 61% democrats," he stated with pride. Well, when you lie down with dogs, you get fleas.
We sent him up there to clean things up...instead he made a greater mess out of things. Serves him and all of his henchmen right. I look forward to seeing justice prevail. I say, Go to work FBI and get to the bottom of all the corruption. Bring it to the light of day for the Republican party and the world to see what really went on behind closed doors.

Good Work Osi!
