"Undecided" Kentucky Super Delegates Show Smartness, Will Join Governor Steve Beshear And Wait Until June 3Rd to Decide Who To Support.
The three "UNDECIDED" Kentucky Super Delegates, Governor Steve Beshear, Democratic party chair., Jennifer Moore and vice chair, Nathan Smith, have shown smartness and joined the Governor in waiting until after the primary on June 3rd, to decide who to endorse.
Just as I stated for the Governor, I'm sure these two will catch a lot of "flack" for their decision, but they should be comforted that they have made the right, smart decision for their party and for the state.
Based on their statements, we can expect them to reach their decisions at different times after different factors have been considered.
While Beshear and Smith said they're waiting to see how the DNC will count the primaries in those Michigan and Florida ( Obama now is within 70 delegates of the 2,026 threshold), Beshear will wait to see "who has the most popular votes by that time and where the delegate count stands", and, Smith and Moore, are interesting hearing Obama and Clinton's closing arguments about which one stacks up best against presumptive Republican nominee John McCain, the Arizona Senator.
So, by those standards, you can count the Governor as most likely to go for Obama, once he clinches the popular vote count, and the delegates count appears to be his also.
For the other two, their amorphous standards give NO indication of who they'll be supporting -- they may both be milking their new found "celebrity" for all it's worth --, though it is CLEAR that many sensible folks will NOT care at that point, especially if Obama captures the nomination by delegate count.
