Laugh With Me -- Or At Me --, If You Will.

A few years back my family and I journeyed to Europe, spending a lot of time in England and Paris, France.

We laughed at the Europeans for driving match boxes -- you know, those tiny cars that they drove and you found to be ubiquitous on all their highways and byways. We thought the Europeans were too stingy and too stuffy to enjoy themselves, by buying the SUVs and trucks -- which resembled houses on wheels -- that we enjoyed driving here in America.

Now, without telling you the answer, you know who is having the LAST laugh.

With gas prices SOARING, General Motors (GM) (soon to be followed by Ford and Chrysler), has shut down production of our beloved BEHEMOTHS.

Now these BEHEMOTHS have NO takers, car dealers refuse to take them as trades in, since they have a GLUT of them on their lots, and every owner of one (maybe, NOT everyone) is selling them, and buyers will soon be able to grab one -- if they want it -- at a bargain price of buy one get TWO FREE.

My European friends are having a laugh at my expense.
