Mistaking Eastern Kentucky University For A Branch Of The University Of Kentucky Is NOT A Good Way For Bruce Lunsford To Win Votes.
And the GOP and Mitch McConnell will NOT let him get away with such faux pas, as they accuse Bruce Lunsford (in their email blast) of "not being ready for prime time".
Here's what Bruce Lunsford wrote on his campaign website (which is probably NOW CORRECTED):
"Today I spent a very warm early summer day working at a gas station/food mart (the “College Food Mart”) in Richmond, Kentucky near the Eastern Kentucky campus of U.K."
Of course, if you live in Kentucky or have visited the state, you would know that Eastern Kentucky University, which is based in Richmond Kentucky, is a full fledged University separate (and apart from) the University of Kentucky, which is located in Lexington.
I'm sure many are wondering the same thing, too, about the GOP's "ready for prime time" query.

"Faux pas?"
Sounds French. Elitist.
