My question though is this: Had John McCain won instead of Barack Obama, would John McCain be magnanimous enough to invite Obama to a meeting, just like Obama has done for McCain?

I seriously doubt it, and if John McCain would have wanted to do so, I doubt that many "foaming in the mouth" Republicans would have let him!
