We Have Been Sitting At Home Getting Psyched Up For Our Washington D. C. Trip, Watching POTUS Barack Obama Roll Along On His Train And Remarking ...
... how BADLY President Bush SCREWED up things for Republicans.
The way it is looking NOW, Republicans should NOT even bother thinking about running a candidate in 2012.
Yes, folks, it's that BAD.
I know many Republicans will pray that Barack Obama screws up, but I suspect that is a prayer that the Almighty may NOT answer.
It's looking to me that the ALMIGHTY may have given POTUS Barack Obama Abraham Lincoln's WISDOM and love of country.
Republicans CANNOT say that they do NOT deserve what they're getting now, can they?

Bush may have screwed up the Republicans, that's true. But let us not forget - the Republicans screwed up America by nominating and electing Bush. I lived through, or should I say "I survived," Jimmy Carter. Perhaps not a bad guy, but a horrible president. Perhaps the worst president in history -- until W. Bush came along. Bush should have never been president, his disasters were predicatble, they were predicted and he lived down to them. Bush lowered the bar for presidential performance to never before plumbed depths. Obama has a Herculean job ahead of him.
Correction, Bill: Republicans, some Democrats and Independents elected Bush.
I was one of them in 2003. In fact, I was one of his Kentucky Wranglers!
But, bear in mind that while he was running for office in 2003, he has GOOD intentions and was a humble man until he chose Dick "fuck you" Cheney as his Vice President and DISASTER struck.
I still believe Bush SCREWED up with that pick, and society will compare him to another Richard "Tricky Dick" Nixon -- Cheney's boss and another man who would have told people to "fuck you", just like Cheney.
As for POTUS Barack Obama, he indeed has a "Herculean task ahead of him" but our collective prayers are with him to succeed.
Why you ask?
Well, for one the country -- and the world -- need healing from BUSHISM, particularly the "us against them" cowboy mentality, and the DIVISENESS, not to talk about all the political corruption and ineptitude;
and,
because Obama is emulating in words the example of my hero, Abraham Lincoln (heck, part of the PROBLEM within the Republican Party is that the party has forgotten or chosen NOT to acknowledge it's FATHER (Abraham Lincoln) and his remarkable and WORTHY HERITAGE).
IT PAINS ME THAT IT TOOK A DEMOCRAT TO EMBRACE LINCOLN, BUT AS LONG AS OBAMA IS WILLING TO DO SO, I WILL EMBRACE HIM, TOO.
IN FACT, AS SUCH, HE CAN EXPECT MY VOTE AND SUPPORT AND HELP IN 2012 -- WITH MONEY, BLOG, AND GOTV EFFORTS IN WHEREVER HE WANTS ME TO BE, LIKE I DID LAST YEAR!!
Oh, I know, Osi - but those who helped elect Bush in 2000 and 2004 bought into the myths sold by the Republicans, to include but not limited to 1) their superior morality - demonstrated by Abramoff, Ney, Stevens, Craig, Vitter, Foley, etc.; 2) that they're stronger on national defense -- except in Iraq, Afghanistan and the pursuit of bin Laden; and 3) they're more fiscally responsible -- I don't need to illustrate that one.
But I'm with you on Obama -- I only hope our leaders in Congress don't screw it up. I'm not that impressed with Harry Reid as Majority Leader, seems weak.
We trusted Bush -- at least I did in 2000!
Harry Reid is a JOKE, and I hope Mitch McConnell continues to make him look like an IDIOT.
On another note, I wish you were here in Washington D. C. . It is electrifying -- I have never seen anything like it.
NEARLY EVERYONE with an OBAMA something on, and EVERYWHERE is packed literally with GAZILLIONS of people, and today is not even inaugural day.
Tomorrow will be somethimg to behold!
