To many of you who may not understand HIPAA, it prevents medical providers from releasing patient information without permission, unless it is related to the patient's medical treatment.

Michael is dead, so none of these disclosures has anything to do with his medical treatment, and something tells me he is now unable to grant anyone his consent to release the information that has nothing to do with his medical treatment.
