BREAKING NEWS: I'm Saddened To Learn Lexington Police Have Arrest Warrant Charging Steve Nunn With Murder Of Ex Fiancee, Amanda Ross.

Lexington police charge Nunn with ex-fiancee's slaying

MUNFORDVILLE — Lexington police have obtained an arrest warrant, charging former state Rep. Steve Nunn with murder in the slaying of his former fiancée, Amanda Ross.

Nunn, 56, was also charged with violation of a protective order. The warrant have been served to Nunn, who is currently being held in the Hart County jail, police said in a release.

Nunn, who also faces six charges of wanton endangerment in Hart County for allegedly firing a gun near police officers, was delivered to the Hart County Jail by Kentucky State Police shortly before 10:30 a.m. CDT Monday. Nunn is scheduled to be back in court in Hart County at 11 a.m. next Monday for an arraignment.
