A Letter from Kentucky State Representative Jeff Hoover
A Letter from State Representative Jeff Hoover
Dear Friends:
Today at noon, the 2010 Kentucky General Assembly will convene to address the issues facing our Commonwealth, identify solutions to our most pressing matters and most importantly, lay the groundwork to ensure a brighter tomorrow for future generations. Undoubtedly, the most critical bill facing this year’s legislature is the 2010-2012 biennial budget. Given the current fiscal climate and continued economic downturn, unprecedented challenges await us in approving a budget that continues to fund vital services while being mindful of the financial constraints which have been placed upon us.
We hope to use our new www.kentuckyhouserepublicans.org as an avenue to keep you updated on not only legislative actions, but to keep you informed as to how we, the House Republicans, are working to serve you as a conservative voice in Frankfort. Our caucus is committed to battling bureaucracy and partisan games instead of allowing politics to stand in the way of progress that is so desperately needed.
The best part of our job is hearing from you, our fellow Kentuckians. We welcome your comments, questions and concerns. It is our belief that we are only effective if we are connected to and in communications with you, so we invite you contact us. If you would like to speak directly to your representative, you may visit their individual member page listed under the “About Us” tab. We can also be reached via e-mail at info@kentuckyhouserepublicans.org. Additionally, please take a few moments to check out our Facebook fan page, YouTube channel and Flickr album.
Finally, let me extend our appreciation for your support of our caucus and our members. As we strive to serve through the principles that are the blueprints of our party, we will need your continued support. Please check back often for updates on events that provide you an opportunity to do so. We hope you enjoy www.kentuckyhouserepublicans.org.
Sincerely,
Jeff Hoover
House Republican Floor Leader
