Talk About A HUGE Poke In The Eye For Mama Grizzly, As Lisa Murkowski Now Leads Joe Miller by 10,000 Votes In Alaska!

Murkowski now leads Miller by 10,000 votes in Alaska
By Sean Cockerham

Tuesday's review of write-in ballots ended with Sen. Lisa Murkowski enjoying an apparently insurmountable 10,420-vote lead over Joe Miller.

Murkowski also now has collected more votes that went unchallenged by Miller ballot observers than Miller's total vote count. That makes it appear as though Miller's lawsuit to seeking to toss out misspelled votes is irrelevant, since there aren't enough of those for him to win.

The Division of Elections has now counted a total of 100,868 votes for Murkowski. Miller has 90,448.

Miller ballot observers challenged 8,153 of the votes the Division of Elections counted for Murkowski.

So she's ended up with 92,715 unchallenged votes, which is still more than Miller's total of 90,448.

Miller could call for a recount.
