Grayson submitted his resignation to Governor Steve Beshear to take effect at 12:00 p.m. Noon, EST on January 29, 2011. Beshear announced that Mayor Elaine Walker of Bowling Green will be appointed to fill the remainder of the term, which expires on January 1, 2012. The public is invited to attend.
