Baker portrait dedications planned this week

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) -- A portrait dedication is being held this week for a painting of the late Walter A. Baker of Glasgow, who was a state Supreme Court justice and served in the Kentucky House and Senate.

The dedication is Wednesday afternoon in the courtroom of the Kentucky Supreme Court at the state Capitol in Frankfort.

The portrait was painted by Bowling Green artist Angela Kuprion and will hang in the corridor on the second floor of the Capitol, according to the Daily News of Bowling Green.

Another dedication will be held Thursday at the Barren County Courthouse in Glasgow.
