Andy Barr Will Try Again To Topple Ben Chandler.
Dear Friend,
Now is our chance to finish what we started last year!
Today, I officially launched my 2012 campaign for U.S. Congress.
Please click here or visit our website to view my announcement video.
Last year’s campaign was one that we can be proud of: We provided a voice for the conservative principles of limited government, free enterprise and fiscal responsibility that Washington so desperately needs.
Unfortunately, we came up just 648 votes short of ousting a career politician who has helped drive our nation to the brink of bankruptcy.
I learned a lot on the campaign, met a lot of great folks and most importantly was able to build one of the best grassroots campaigns in the country because of you.
Recently, my wife Carol and I were blessed with the birth of our first child, Eleanor. When I hold Eleanor in my arms I understand now, more than ever, the call to leave this nation better than the one we received.
The problem is no longer that government is growing; the problem is that government is totally bankrupt.
Fortunately, we can make a difference. We can avert a debt crisis and lay the foundation for long term economic growth by forcing the government to live within its means.
Can I count on your help again? At the end of this month, we will be required to file our first financial report. Please help us start this campaign off strong by making a secure online contribution. From the maximum of $2,500, $1,000, $500, or whatever amount you can generously donate, let's show our resolve to continue the fight for a limited and more accountable federal government!
My top priority is to end the culture of fiscal irresponsibility that has led our country to the brink of financial ruin. It’s time we have leaders in Washington who no longer view taxpayers as a no-limit credit card financed by our children’s future.
That is why I am running for Congress, and with your help I know we can be successful.
Carol, Eleanor and I are thankful for your help and we look forward to seeing you on the campaign trail!
