Conspiracy Against African-Americans

Remember when Katrina happened and people like Farrakhan and others were saying that Bush and Rumsfeld planted bombs or something in the levies in order to drown the African-Americans down there?

What about this:

American liberals have restricted offshore drilling to the Gulf Coast almost exclusively over fears of oil spills and massive collapse of offshore rigs and whatnot because if anyone's environment and birds are going to be destroyed by billions of barrels of crude oil, they want it to be the poor blacks' environment and birds on the Gulf Coast.

Not the East Coast. Not the West Coast. Not Florida's West Coast. Not Alaska.

Those are their homes and vacation spots.

What nobody will tell them is that there was virtually no significant damage to any of the Gulf Coast offshore rigs during Katrina and Rita. That said, why can't we drill for our own oil in the aforementioned areas and why can't we go further offshore?

Why we allow the Europeans to be better than us and embrace nuclear energy while we sit on our hands is a whole 'nother discussion.
