Saturday is "put up or shut up" day, as public will see "secret" report; law firm's reaction is mere "yada" "yada"!
The Judge in the "secret" Kentucky Central Insurance case has released the report to Steve Beshear's law firm, Stites and Harbison.
Saturday will be "put up or shut up" day as we will all know the contents of that report and what it says about Steve Beshear's role in the case. I still say that the WORST case scenario will be that Steve Beshear allowed the "appearance of impropriety" or "an actual conflict of interest to creep into the case" -- an event that may cause some professional headaches (and maybe, a BAR reprimand), but NO criminal conduct.
I suspect the report is NOT very flattering for the ethics of the Stites and Harbison law firm, hence the law firm's "yada yada" about "unfairness".
The good thing about the release? It will put to rest ALL the speculation, conjecture and out right character assassinations from some quarters.
