Is the Valerie Plame CIA leak "chicken coming home to roost" for Bush and company?

That's the issue that's brewing, as what sounds strangely like "clucking sounds" may be heard in the distant horizon, though I do NOT believe President Bush and Veep Dick Cheney will be dumb enough to leave the equivalent of Richard "Tricky Dick" Nixon's incriminating White House tapes.

Update: Well, it turns out, according to Former White House press secretary Scott McClellan, President Bush was only repeating what he was told, which ended up being a lie.

The question that remains is: if Bush did NOT tell a lie himself but repeated a lie told him, who then told Bush the repeated lie -- Veep Dick Cheney, his former Chief of Staff, "Scooter" Libby, or someone else in the White House?
