**** BREAKING NEWS *BOMBSHELL*: Chris Thieneman abandons Congressional race, will endorse John Yarmuth. ****

Chris Thieneman, a Republican candidate in Louisville's 3rd Congressional District, said this morning that he's abandoning the race, will switch parties to become a Democrat, and endorse the candidacy of Democratic candidate, Congressman John Yarmuth.

This is TRULY a bombshell, one sure to have reverberations in the Republican Party, which tends to favor Republicans who were once Democrats (like Chris Thieneman, and Mitt Romney) over REAL Republicans.

By contrast, Democrats view Republicans, who become Democrats, with suspicion.

I guess one can say that is what Republicans get and deserve.
