FRANCENE v. JACK RICHARDSON, Part Deux
This week WHAS radio host Francene continued criticising controversial Jefferson GOP Chair Jack Richardson. She wanted to find out details about the party re-organization scheduled for March 1. You may recall 4 years ago Doug Hawkins had to sue Richardson just to find out where and when they would take place. No information is as yet forthcomoming for 2008.
Virtually every Republican in Jefferson County is ready to move on from the disastrous Richardson tenure, which has seen big losses in political offices, such as the 3rd Congressional District and in party structure. The current county party is broke and bereft of people.
Richardson also appeared on the Tony Cruze show, and has put out an unresponsive web-post, that doesn't dispute what he earlier told Francene- he tries to shut down candidacies he doesn't like.
The whole thing is very odd and is probably just beginning to heat up, as Richardson can't seem to resist making himself such a target for ridicule.
