Can anyone question that the news of "Comrade" Fidel Castro's "retirement" qualifies him for the person for the week (if for nothing else, then for the newsworthiness).

Honorable mentions go to Barack Obama, who keeps "kicking "Bilary" Clinton's a*#, and John McCain who keeps doing the same -- particularly to the New York Times newspaper.

For dishonorable mention for the "person" of the week, look no further than the New York Times newspaper, which attempted to smear John McCain, but instead got "rotten egg" splattered all over itself.
