Update: Oh, BTW: Senator Mitch McConnell was one of the 29 GOOD guys on this bill to ban earmarks (Kentucky's Junior Senator, Jim Bunning wasn't one of the 29, but voted with the 71. Here's the tally), and a visual map. In fact, you can say that Mitch McConnell LED the effort (John McCain was also a GOOD guy -- he is ALWAYS a RELIABLE vote against earmarks. "Billary" Clinton (Queen of earmarks) and Barack Obama (a user of earmarks) all "saw the light" and became GOOD guys yesterday)!
