Governor Steve Beshear Gets It Right: "There's certainly a better way ... to consider a budget".

Governor Steve Beshear gets something right concerning the budgetary process, as has been reported:

"The budget should be put together in an orderly manner and with thought. And while I think a lot of thought has been put into this, obviously it was put together at the last minute like most of the budgets have been in the last few years," he said. "There's certainly a better way of doing that than bringing it all down to the last few minutes of the legislative session and I would hope that as we move into the future we would be a little more thoughtful in terms of using the time wiser in a session to consider a budget."

And, it has NOTHING to do with giving Senate President, David Williams, "an Emperor's crown", as Harry Moberly, MOANED.

Here's a tip to the House Leadership: Notice, if you care, that Greg Stumbo was the one who met with David Williams to hammer out a budget that passed both Houses, warts and all. If that does NOT provide you a CLUE as to where Greg Stumbo may land in your next Leadership role, then you need more HELP that anyone could have imagined.
