Kentucky House Overwhelmingly Passes Felon Voting Rights Bill. The Senate Needs To Follow.
Read about it here.
We fully support the House and urge the Senate to do the same.
Persons who have FULLY paid their debt to society need to be allowed back into it. One way to do that is to allow those, who have served their sentences and paid all of their restitutions -- UNLESS they were convicted of election related crimes -- to have their rights to vote restored to them.
It is time for Kentucky to leave the company it keeps with Virgina, as the only two states WITHOUT automatic restoration of voting rights.
Enough said.
