Governor Steve Beshear Will Likely Call A Special Session To Reduce The Budget Or Raise Taxes.
I was a little bit hasty in congratulating members of the General Assembly for avoiding a special session by passing a budget.
Now the Governor is hinting that he may call a special session "either to make further reductions in that budget, which to me is untenable, or to raise some revenue so we can continue vital services to the people."
Yep, a special session may still be in the offing, and I would predict VERY likely.
