Person for the week: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. .

Our Person for the week is a man named King, who continues to cast a shadow over our country, even in death, and particularly after the race baiting of this year's presidential primary.



Honorable mention goes to another "King" -- "King" David Williams, that is -- a man who continues to confound members of the Kentucky House of Representatives, that he, in effect, rules that body, as well as the Senate, over which he presides as President. If you doubt me, you can ask the House Leadership, starting with Chair. of the House budget committee, Harry Moberly.

Mention for bravery goes to Governor Steve Beshear for bucking his party to do what he thinks is in the state's BEST interest -- agree or not.



Dishonorable mention goes to Robert Mugabe, who has been fighting to cling on to power, fair or foul. Enough said.
