Speaker Jody Richards: Nothing about "ugly budget" excites me.

The just agreed to state budget passed this morning by the conferees has been referred to as an "ugly budget" by none other than Speaker of the House, Jody Richards, who forsees serious challenges for the budget in the full House.

No word yet from Senate conferees as to whether the Senate sees -- or will see -- a more beautiful apparition when it looks at the budget.
