I normally think this blog is outstanding, but have been so fed-up with your continued use of sexism when discussing Sen. Clinton, and your refusal to acknowledge your sexist attacks. I honestly wish you would do some self-examination because I just cannot stand to read this site any more, and I am not even a Clinton supporter.
Where is the sexism, jean, please enlighten me?
Oh, the fired chicken sign is not at my restaurant -- I do NOT own any restaurant!
Osi, I understand that the KFC sign is not your restaurant. That thing has been making the rounds for ages, and I am disappointed to see its appearance on this blog.
Look at Hillary. She's so stupid and hysterical. Look at all these ridiculous faces that crazy, overly-ambitions woman makes. Ain't it funny? Give me a break!
Not to mention: WHY IS HILLARY TO BLAME FOR HER HUSBAND'S INFIDELITY? WHY is that sermon newsworthy? Why does every criticism of her as a candidate ultimately revert back to her gender (including her role as a wife - a-la "billary)? There is PLENTY to criticize about her without resorting to such drivel.
Jean, the KFC sign is funny -- Hillary or someone else.
Hillary is not to be blamed for BUBBA's deal with Monica -- even though I believe she sanctioned, to say the least.
Adultery is an appropriate sermon for anyone -- regardless of occasion.
Well, Osi, if you;re going to pull the, "C'mon, lighten up, the sign is funny," then I'm going to call it like I see it: you're sexist and perfectly comfortable with criticizing a powerful woman by reverting to misogynistic frames. Classy.
Thanks, Jean, even though I did NOT create the sign, but merely find it funny.
And again, the sign will be funny (and posted here) if it talked about ANYONE else other than BILLARY, man or woman. So you can dispense with accusing me of being a misogynist, just as I have NOT accused of being anyone, other than being Jean, with your ATTEMPTED LAME and OUTDATED JIM CROWish watermelon stealing RACIAL joke.
So once again, and again, lighten up will ya?
Oh, you mean someone would have made a joke about John McCain's body parts as parts of an animal for consumption? Somehow I find that hard to believe.
Just because YOU didn't create the tasteless "joke" doesn't let you off the hook. And yes, because you think it's funny to reduce a female candidate to her looks/body parts, YOU ARE SEXIST.
Jean, if you find one about John McCain, let me know and I'll be glad to post it for you.
And thanks for calling me a sexist, but I will NOT call you any names!
