And Yet More Update On Democratic Ad For David Boswell And Against Brett Guthrie.

Below is an email I received from Brian Smith, Brett Guthrie's campaign Manager:

I wanted to share with you the attached letter from WKYU FM that states that the television ad aired in Kentucky by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee contains false and misleading information about a report prepared by WKYU-FM on the Second District Congressional race. This is further proof that the ad is demonstrably false and libelous.

Mr. Lamb,

A television ad aired in Kentucky by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee contains misleading information about a report prepared by WKYU-FM on the Second District Congressional race. The advertisement, which started airing on Kentucky television stations this week, includes a graphic which identifies
“Kentucky Public Radio” as the source for the claim that candidate Brett Guthrie supports “Unfair Trade Practices.”

The report prepared on August 25th by WKYU-FM, a participating member of
Kentucky Public Radio, does not include the phrase “unfair trade practices.”
Furthermore, our report made no such assertion against anyone involved in the story.
To imply that our station made such a charge against candidate Guthrie is false and extremely misleading.

We take great pride in providing accurate, ethical coverage of news events in the Commonwealth. In the interest of fairness and accuracy, we wanted you to be aware of this situation.

Thank you,

Peter Bryant, Station Manager of WKYU-FM
