MEDIA GOES NUTS

We have not seen such a drive-by media feeding frenzy since the Clarence Thomas hearings. They absolutely cannot stand the thought of any minority or woman outside the ruling class coming into national office.

What is so funny is that even more than with Thomas, the lies and the hypocrisy are so pervasive, they don't see the backlash coming.

Millions of solid, loving families have had to deal with a young woman getting pregnant before she was really ready. It's not a disaster. And birth control is not usually in question, the young women know where babies come from and were trying to make a baby, however naieve that may be. Sarah Palin seems to have handled this like any loving mother should and would do.

Lest anyone forget, Barack Obama was born to a mother who got married at 17, three months pregnant.

There will of course be so many other stupid charges and lies to deal with. My favorite is that Palin only got a passport in 2007, and has not visited enough foreign countries. My God, you now can't be elected to national office unless you stayed enough weeks on holiday in France!

Unless you are in the military or work for a specialty company like an airline or oil company, the average American is very unlikely to have spent much time outside North America. How in any way is that a big deal? Joe Biden spent 35 years on lavish taxpayer junkets, learning what exactly?

This is going to be one ugly election, the media simply can't help themselves.
