Bruce will be a tireless advocate in Washington for our troops and our veterans. He is a veteran himself having served in the Army Reserve and the National Guard. He'll make sure that our commanders have a clear mission, that our homeland defense is strengthened, and that our military remains the best trained, best equipped and best led fighting force in the history of the world.

P.S. - The next President needs to undo the damage caused by the Bush Administration. We need a Senate that's willing to work with the new administration, rather than simply obstruct and oppose it. Mitch McConnell is incapable of working across party lines, and his record of obstruction is crystal clear. Kentucky deserves a Senator who doesn't think "consensus" is a dirty word.
