Notice, if you will, that of the 40% who consider themselves Conservatives, ONLY a measly 9% consider themselves "very" conservative.

The same measly result is for Liberals -- 5%.

So the moral of the story?

If the Republican party wants to ostracize Moderate Conservatives, they do so at their PERIL, and the party can expect a HUGE thanks from the Democratic Party.
