Words To Live By, And Words To Ponder (For The New Year And ALWAYS).
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

You reckon Jefferson was talking about those extended lips too...allowing for some serious killing? Havs common sense completely gone out the window? I seriously doubt any founding father wanted the gun toting culture we have here in the USA, and even more som in some states like Kentucky and Arizona. I am not reassured at all to know that the man in the next vehicle over with the relbel flag on his truck most likely is packing an assault gun for his protection in rural Kentucky!
