WKU Football Forced To Release Details Of Disciplinary Action Against Defensive Coordinator, Lance Guidry.

Below's an excerpt from the memo:

Bjork also released a copy of the memorandum sent to Guidry on Sunday, outlining his disciplinary plan. According to the memo, Guidry must pay a $4,500 donation - equal to one month’s net pay - to a local charity by the end of the calendar year. He must also complete 10 hours of community service at a local charity within the same time frame.

In addition, Guidry must personally reimburse WKU for the rental car he was driving in Baton Rouge, attend mandatory counseling with a WKU employee assistance program and forfeit use of his university-leased vehicle. He will work under a zero-tolerance policy and will not be eligible for a base salary increase in 2012-2013.

“Lance, we value your talent and abilities as a football coach and a leader of young men but we cannot tolerate your actions,” Bjork and Taggart wrote to Guidry in the memo. “This situation, as bad as it is, can be overcome if you handle this the right way and learn from your past mistakes. Your main challenge moving forward will be to earn back your credibility and the trust from the players, coaches and community.”
