John David Dyche to Fletcher: put past behind you.

John David Dyche is urging Gov. Fletcher to use his state of the commonwealth address to apologise for merit system "mistakes" and to provide (fiscally responsible) and bold leadership. While the advice sounds reasonable, the one about apologising for "mistakes" only works if it is not belated and if enough political damage has not already been done -- two BIG ifs to overcome.
