Is Richards a "consensus builder" or a "consensus follower"?
Up next today is Joe D. "Jody" Richards in the continuing series on the gubernatorial candidates. While Jody is described as a "nice person" -- a trait which he wears proudly by suggesting that "[i]f being a nice person is an albatross, I will gladly wear it because, you know, to be able to last long in this business, you have to be a consensus-builder. You have to work with others", -- he is also described as more of "a consensus follower," who "[o]nce a consensus is reached, ... has a tendency to go in that direction."
So which is he: Consensus "builder" or "follower" and does it matter to you?
And while you are thinking about it, check out his running mate, John Y. Brown, 111.
