Ronald Reagan, in his own words.

Many times we hear politicians talk about what Ronald Reagan "would have done" or present themselves as the next Ronald Reagan. Now we have a chance to read the man's words -- in his own handwriting. Read the excerpts from a new book, The Reagan Diaries, by Ronald Reagan, edited by Douglas Brinkley, to be published this month by HarperCollins Publishers; © 2007 by The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library Foundation, and and the diary itself to decide for yourselves.

Only one perfect Man has ever lived, and that was nearly 2000 years ago. Reagan wasn't faultless, but he was definitely one-of-a-kind for his generation, much as Washington was for his in the 18thC. I miss the Gipper.
