***** Speaker Newt Gingrich is known for speaking his mind. This time he speaks the self-evident truth! *****

No matter what ytou may think about former Speaker of the U. S. House of Representatives, Newt Gingrich, you have to give him much kudos for speaking his mind. This time not only did he speak his mind, but he also spoke a "self evident truth": he chastised the Republican Party -- a party founded SOLELY because of the welfare of Blacks Americans -- for "walk[ing] off from African-Americans."

Unfortunately, I MUST admit that Newt is right on this one. The sad reality is: I wonder how many in the party hierarchy, other than Newt and a few well meaning others like him, REALLY care about the issue.
