61% Of Political Appointees By Fletcher Are Democrats!

Governor Fletcher considers appointing Democrats to 61 percent of non-merit state positions as a "major" accomplishment of his administration.He now proudly refers to this "accomplishment" in his speeches after his anti-casino gambit failed miserably!

After 32 years without a Republican Governor in Kentucky, those political(non-merit) appointees should be Republicans. Perhaps Ernie should have concentrated more on filling these non-merit positions with qualified Republicans instead of trying to play political games with the merit system!
