The person for the week is not HE who is sitting on Santa's lap. In fact, considering the events of this week, it is HE who the Person(s) for the week should thank for their honor.

Who then is the Person for the week, you ask? Well ... they are the folks who released a new National Intelligence Estimate on Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons, indicating that the Iranians shut down their program more than four years ago; a report that the president UNABASHEDLY treated its conclusions as a vindication rather than what they REALLY are: an embarrassment for him.

So for saving us from those NEO-CONS, led by Dick Cheney, who are "sabre rattling" on Iraq, we thank those BRAVE men and women, and make them our choice for Persons for the week.
