Whether the troop reduction is because of improved security conditions in the country (as some claim) or because the Iraqis want us to tell them when we leave -- as they tell us they want us to quicken our exit (as some make clear), it seems like all sides understand that at some point we've got to leave, especially when our hosts, the Iraqis, through their INEFFECTIVE government, is hinting that they value our exit.

Our government MUST realize that there is NO HONOR in being an UNWANTED and UNWELCOMED guest.
