Mitt Romney Gives Up On John McCain And SILLY Sarah Palin, Predicts A Barack Obama Win. Read His Email.

Dear Supporter,

With just over a week left until Election Day, I am writing to ask for your help.

My good friend, Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, is locked in a battle to the finish for re-election. And he needs your support.

Please take just a few minutes today to visit Mitch's website and make a donation of at least $25.

If you've been following the race, you know the situation. Liberal Democrats have targeted Mitch because, frankly, as Senate Republican Leader he stands in the way of their wrong-headed plans for our country. He's a fighter, and deserves the gratitude and respect of every conservative and independent voter in America for standing up for us.

Mitch McConnell is the highest-ranking Republican in the Senate, a place where it's hard to get things done. His friends and foes alike both acknowledge his effectiveness in delivering for his constituents and crafting commonsense legislation that benefits all Americans.

His opponent was handpicked by Chuck Schumer and will be a reliable vote for the Democrats. And as we face the very real possibility of an Obama presidency, that's the last thing we need.

It's more critical than ever that we have a strong Republican leader to act as a "firewall" against bad legislation, tax increases, and increased spending. And Mitch McConnell has proven he will stand up for us.

Right now Mitch holds a lead in this race. But the outside groups are pouring it on, and conservatives need to come to his side to help him build that lead. In short, Mitch needs your immediate support.

Please help this conservative leader continue to represent us in the Senate by making a gift of $25, $50, $100 or even more right now.

Mitch and I are both counting on you in this hour of need.

Thank you again for all you have done for me and the conservative cause.

Your friend,

Gov. Mitt Romney

Editor's comment: Did you catch that?

Go back to the paragraph I have highlighted. It reads:

"... And as we face the very real possibility of an Obama presidency, ... ."

At least, Mitt "I'll flip flop on ANY issue" Romney is telling the TRUTH this time.
