Person For The Week: POTUS Barack Obama.

Our person for the week for the past three weeks has been POTUS Barack Obama --just as he is for this week to, which is no exception -- that we have bothered not to recognize him for the sake of what may appear to be sheer redundancy.

Today, at the sake of redundancy, we post of his accomplishment today by recognizing him.

Others, believe it or not, have not escaped our attention, so we nominate them as our special mentions. They are:

Senator Mitch McConnell, and the band of Republicans who exhibited Conservative credentials and opposed the bailout pig with lipstick; and the week before, we recognize the Captain of the U. S. Airways, Chesley Sullenberger III, whose plane landed in the Hudson river.
