***** "Pay to play, Fletcher style", according to Liberal Blogger. *****

It is NOT often that I post something from another blog site, but here goes one from Bluegrassreports that you may want to know about -- for whatever it's worth.

Osi: The Nickolas story is libelous towards the District Judge. Just recently an Illinois Supreme Court Justice succesfully sued an Illinois paper for making much the same type of defamatory statement. I'd be very careful about linking to a story that accuses a Judge of "buying" his seat. We'll have to disclaim your story on our aggregator.

As I pointed out, it is Bluegrass' story. I am NOT the author. There's no way I can be sued for linking to a story that someone else published. The readers are smart enough to go to the site and make up their own minds.

You know what else?

Carrie Fischer was in Star Wars with
Harrison Ford was in The Fugitive with
Tommy Lee Jones who was in Batman Forever with
Val Kilmer who was in Heat with
Robert Dinero who was in Sleepers with
KEVIN BACON!

Are you making a point? If so, what is it?

Brian,

It's only libelous if it isn't true. If it is so untrue, I am sure that the governor and his team will file suit and drag Nickolas into court. Oh wait, they won't do that, that would mean all the Fletcher folks would have to testify under oath about all of this stuff. On second thought, maybe nobody will be suing for libel.

Don't let them scare you Osi.

That is the "six degrees of Kevin Bacon" game. The jist is that you can link any actor/actress to Kevin Bacon in six steps or less, if you try hard enough. Fact is, if you try hard enough, you can come awefully close to linking any two people using five or fewer other acquaintances.

Sorry for the confusion.

Just this once. And only to prove my point.

Macaulay Culkin voiced in Robot Chicken with Sarah Michelle Gellar who was in The Air I Breathe with...Kevin Bacon.

Sorry, Osi.

For many of you who do NOT know, please read the top of this blog. I have made it clear that my blog will NOT favor or disfavor ANYONE, PARTY or GROUP.

I served on Fletcher's transition team, but I hope he'll respect my choice to speak the truth and present events as I see them -- that is why this blog is mine.

I VOLUNTARILY left the Conservativeedge blog site because I was tired of being a spokesperson for one person (while disfavoring others) and seeing NOTHING WRONG with anything certain Republicans did. I was tired of the INSANE hypocrisy. So when one of my postings was censored and deleted (and after I got tired of someone there telling me that the site was his, even though that same person -- out of the blue -- invited me to come on board) I had enough and started mine. No HARD feelings. I still like the guys there, but NO one censures me here.

The ONLY reason this post is objected to by some is that it was posted by a Democrat and it doesn't paint the Gov. in good light. But is that my job or is my job to throw it ALL out there and let the "market place of ideas" take care of it -- especially since I'm mentioned in the article?

Now I do NOT know the truth of the matter asserted by Mark so I tell folks to check it out, discuss it and form their own opinions. That does NOT mean that I do or do NOT support the Gov., but I MUST NOT wear blinders that FORCE me to see the glass as ONLY half full or full when it is empty.

As far as being scared, are you kidding me? I did NOT get to my place in life by kissing where the sun doesn't shine. At a young TEENAGER, I left my parent's home (half way around the world) and journeyed here ALONE. One of the reasons I left was to become an American. The other was to escape the corruption rampant there. By sticking to my guiding PRINCIPLES of right or wrong, I have made it thus far -- mistakes and all.

GRANTED, because I chose the UNCORRUPTED, but RIGHTEOUS and less traveled road in life (plus some immutable xtics that I CANNOT do anything about, I have been unsuccessful in winning political office (while spending about less than 10% of EVERY of one of my political opponents and refusing to buy, or to be bought by, ANYONE). But it doesn't mean that I need to now compromise my moral principles to gain political favor or be AFRAID of ANYONE. So I continue to comment for all the candidates -- good or bad -- and you continue to come back and read my posts and comments, as you please.

Oh, as I have been practicing law for 20 years and as I am recognized for Constitutional Law expertise, I invite ANYONE who wants to tell me that I have to give up my FREE SPEECH rights to comment on this blog or to post as I have done by linking to Mark's blog site, to come and try to take a bite ... .

Go get them Osi! You know what else? Not only is Brian Goettl a piss poor legal mind, he can't spell either. Everyone go check out their site. Leland and Brian couldn't pass 3rd grade spelling.
