And in Kentucky, special session won't start today ... and the Lane Report is issued.

Well, the Kentucky General Assembly will not re-convene today as originally planned, while its Leaders meet to iron out their differences on the Peabody deal. Meanwhile, Gov. Fletcher has stated that he won't call them into session without them first agreeing to pass the bill. This is welcome news and a VERY WISE move on his part. No need to call the Legislature back into session when it appears NOTHING will be accomplished by doing so.

On another political note, the Lane Report is out with a poll for the general election candidates. As many of you know, I am partial to the SURVEYUSA poll as I deem it VERY accurate. I am ONLY mentioning the Lane Report here because, unlike it, the SURVEYUSA poll does NOT yet have a poll for the "down ticket" candidates. So until we get one from SURVEYUSA, here's the Lane Reports' poll summary, and an analysis. You can use it for whatever suits you!
